wow its been 7 months since i updated this thing...not that i'm updating it now...i have xanga...and so does 95% of youth today...anyway...just thought i'd post something so y'all wouldn't think this thing was totally dead...but as before go to my xanga for regular updates...
i am agog at how much my life has changed since my last posting...first of all, i do have a guy now hehe...i love him to pieces...wel ok not literally (ew)...and ive been away from rutgers this year so i'm REALLY out of the loop...sharon is the ONLY person that i kno of that has a livejournal and still updates it...hehe

haven't really updated this thing in a long time...heh...been busy and stuff...
wel, new job going good...waiting for the first paycheck to roll in so i can go shopping...for clothes to wear to work..duh! wel mostly heh...
there's been something that's been going on all summer (and i mean all)...most of you probably won't care but i just feel like ranting...and this is my LJ not yours =P...see i haven't seen one of my best friends all summer (wel ok like once)...so i feel like im totally out of the loop with her life because she hasn't told me anything...and i'm just in the dark here. she could be engaged for all i know - kidding..just speaking metaphorically...but u get the picture...i'm not saying she has to give me a detailed report but i'd like to know whats going on...you know who you are...this isn't bad or good...just my perception of the situation...come visit soon
and there's this guy who can't stop talking about this girl he likes...which annoys me to no end (which he knows)...yet the temptation is so great he can't stop himself...and this girl has already established that she wants nothing to do with a relationship right now....which just makes him seem all the more love-struck and bleh...to make it worse i'm good friends with tihs girl and in her defense i don't like listening to it...and i feel like im like the sounding board every time he feels the need to complain...now i don't mind people talking to me about their problems...but for an entire summer? even i have my limits...i totally understand what he's going thru but even a shrink doesn't listen to their patients this often...so i'm not saying i don't wanna listen to people's problems...its just that i need a break sometimes heh
ok so i'm done...hope that didn't make anyone too mad hehe..just felt like getting that off my chest...and if u kno who im talking about..just keep that to yourself...if u don't that u prolly don't care =P...

no not that type of working girl (sick minded people)...heehee...i got a job! finally! yay! you have no idea how much i need a job or how hard it was to find one. at the petland discounts off salem in randolph..so come visit me sometime ppl, k? if you ever need anything for your pets or u feel like purchasing a hamster or a bird or something. the ferrets are really cute but they're like $120 each. (damn! i wanted one..who knew those smelly things were so expensive)..so anyway yeah just lettin y'all know. byeeee!
p.s. i think my current music song is such a good song...like a guy should sing it to me...but alas i have no guy..oh well...at least i have a job =) |

first - went to city and went to central park zoo and dinner and Stomp...great fun!...will elaborate on that tomorrow
second - Steve, if you're reading this, you haven't change one tiny bit! =P...half of me doesn't want you to change, half of me is saying "good lord"...but im mostly glad to have one of my oldest friends back..SO much to catch up on!...good work steve...now i can't sleep...remembering old times..haha..

today i went shopping for a dress for my cousin's wedding with my mom...tip...never dress shop with your mother unless she's paying for the dress!..so we went to macy's at rockaway mall...a lot of dresses on sale girls so go have a looksy at yur nearest macy's..i got mine for twenty bucks when it was originally sixty...yay!..anyway so i'm trying on dresses...my goes "that one's nice, but your stomach is sticking out"...mothers aiyah...if you know me...i'm not fat or skinny just average..i didn't think there was a problem til that moment...so now i have til sept 1st to exercise off like 5 pounds...but i love the dress so i guess its worth it...hey jon, going hiking any time soon? haha...so therefore i think a large part of the problem with female weight conscioussness is mothers. A mother is sure to point out the flaws in her daughter's appearance, wihtout thinking what affect it has on her daughter. "you're too tall, your thighs are fat, you wear too much makeup, you hunch too much, you dress to skimpy". if perhaps mothers didn't criticize and let girls be themselves they wouldn't feel the need to dress like a fashion victim sometimes...cuz some girls i see musta dressed in the dark...or don't realize the difference between sexy and skanky...so girls, pay no attention to what your mother says, and above all u can be sexy without being skanky...its an art form =P |

at home...not much to do....cept clean house cuz my mom's away so now its my job...its amazing how much dirt is in your house and how long it takes to clean it...i even refrained from using the hall bathroom yesterday cuz i spent all afternoon cleaning it...now i hafta clean the master bath and the rest of the house and clean up my sty of a room...uck...i actually don't mind cleaning that much...that way i can sit down and look at a clean house...hehe...we should take a trip to the beach one f these days people...or great adventure =)

its saturday and yet again i have nothing to do. this is my life...eternally boring. let's see..good things about this week....a really old friend suddenly decided to talk to me...went to dinner with a couple friends...that was interesting...i'm alive...that's good. bad things...still got no job...waiting to hear back from a few ppl...you'd think these people would answer quickly...i keep thinking i need a vacation from all this...but then i don't deserve it cuz i didn't do anything that required much effort or brainpower...welz i'm gonna go to mcd's and get dinner or somethin...call me if you have time to un-bore me...that mean's you sharon!! call me if u are reading this! |
